The Empire Stool and the Chandelier
This empire stool saved the floor when the chandelier crashed 16 feet down from the ceiling. All four of the rails were replaced on the stool, but the mahogany show wood was retained. The legs were re-glued and strengthened. The chandelier was completely rebuilt with the new bent glass shade, rewired and rehung.
Empire Day Bed
Commissioned by a London client, this bed was made from scratch using antique mahogany. A request was subsequently made to extend it and a create a special box to keep TV or audio remote controls in, which has been expertly concealed.
Fire Damaged Table
This beautiful table was damaged in a house fire and had been thrown away as being beyond economical repair.
It was rescued, repaired and restored.
